Holiday Weekend Fun
The kids loved G'ma and G'pas dog Simba. Caleb gave her a hug but I wasn't ready with the camera. Sarah got a little "lashing" from Simba's tail but giggled the whole time. They are both really gentle with dogs and get very excited. Sarah has been saying "rough" for a while to mean a dog and Caleb started this weekend.
The kids enjoyed their very first Christmas parade in Ashland over the Thanksgiving weekend. They watched the majority of it from the perch on Daddy or G'pas shoulders. They were both very taken with it. Then we walked down to watch the lighting. All the lights are out on the plaza (pretty dark), Santa does a count down and then all the lights are turned on. Pretty cool!
Thanksgiving
It's a tradition in David's family for the youngest kiddo to get the "drum bone" so here are Caleb and Sarah with theirs. Caleb did a little gnawing but Sarah didn't want much to do with it. They LOVED T'giving dinner. They ate lots of turkey, potatoes and even tried their first pumpkin pie. The big hit was stuffing. They both loved it. Caleb especially, he couldn't get enough of it.
We spent the weekend in Southern Oregon with David's parents and his Grandma Dot. That's There wasn't much snow but it was cold and the kids got to try out their winter coats and snow boots. They had a blast!

Halloween night
We had a great time on Halloween. We took the kids to a few houses around the neighborhood and they went "trick-or-treating. Sarah was quite taken with a little ghost. She tried to hug it but I wasn't in time with the camera. Caleb also thinks that pumpkins are part of some strong man competition that only he knows about. He really wants to pick them up! They had fun and enjoyed their treats. Sarah layed her items out and looked at them, while Caleb tried to eat the fruit snacks package and all! I can't wait for next year!
