We took the kids to their first fair. They had a blast! The loved the rides (the ones they were tall enough for provided mommy & daddy went), the animals, the food...it was so fun to see their excitement. Above is the only ride they could do by themselves. It was okay but I think their favorite was the giant slide.
First we rode the pretend horses. I love Caleb petting his horse. And then of course, Sarah with the wind in her hair.
Then came the real horses! The kids loved this too. Later we went and checked out some of the animal exhibits and they got to see big horses, and chickens, bunnies, peacocks, pigs (with piglets), sheep, and goats. Too much fun!

Swim Lessons
The kids love swim lessons. They talk about it all day. The water is really cold though so our half hour usually turns into 20 minutes. They have a little platform so the little ones can stand up by themselves. This is Sarah and Caleb hanging out on it.
Sarah was really into the whole kicking thing. Once she discovered it she didn't want to stop. As she kicked, she kept saying kick, kick, kick all around the pool.
Caleb was a little more aprehensive. This was the last day and he let the swim instructor take him out on a board to do some kicking. He mostly liked playing with the toys and "kicking" to the numbers noting the depth...he thought they were stickers.
