We went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. The kids loved him! Sarah, who screamed her head off at Santa, couldn't get enough of him. As soon as she was out of the stroller she ran to give him a hug. Caleb was pretty excited to see him too. After the bunny we rode in one of those overpriced, germ ridden, mall toys. They loved that too! What big kids they're becoming!
Sarah's all ready to shop, cell phone in one hand, keys in the other, and her debt card in her teeth! She got a little purse for Christmas with all this stuff in it and is such a big girl!
We have such busy little ones these days. We took them to an inside play area and they had a blast. I think they forget how little they are and are completely fearless!
The kids absolutely love being outside. They especially like walking all by themselves, riding their little ride-on toys, and sidewalk chalk.
Sarah has an affinity for accessories. She loves sunglasses, shoes, purses, jewelry, hats, etc. Here she was modeling brothers sunglasses. Mommy decided to experiment with some gel and Caleb's hair. Obviously his hair is a little long for such experiments and the end result is a little Einsteinish. He loved it though. He kept looking in the mirror giggling at himself!
The kids went to story time at a local bookstore last weekend and even got to meet Raggedy Anne. They loved it! It was so sweet. We also took them for their first McD's cheeseburgers. They both dug right in. I know it is a right of passage for kids but it felt a little like contributing to the delinquency of a minor!
