Caleb got his first big boy hair cut last weekend. I've been putting it off as long as possible but it was definitely time. He had a little too much hair in the back and it was starting to go in different directions. He was much more cooperative than I imagined and he is such a big boy now!

Pear Blossom and the Kids
The kids had fun at Pear Blossom too. They waited on the sidelines and clapped for me as I came in. They also got to enjoy a parade. They are really into music and Caleb loves cars and trucks so a parade full of marching bands and fire trucks was perfect!
Here are the kids waiting to cheer on mommy!
They loved the bubble machine!
Pear Blossom Run
Usually I keep the blog about the kids but here's one entry all about me. I ran the Pear Blossom in S0. Oregon on April 12. It's a 10 mile race that I've wanted to do for years. My goal was to finish in 1:33 to 1:34. I ended up 1:29:46 which is a personal best for pace/distance! I finished in the top 3rd for women and top half overall! It was great! I look forward to doing it again next year. I plan on running the Eugene half-marathon on May 4th too!
At the start line.

A Few More Easter Pix

Just a few more fun pictures from Easter. The kids got more sweets in two days than they have had in the last 3 months! They didn't complain. They loved their little chocolate bunnies and ate them like seasoned pros starting with the ears first. I asked Sarah for a bite of hers and she pulled it away and shook her head no. Caleb shared a bite with me though. The other pictures were just fun. They played with balloons and as you can see, Caleb loved it! Sarah is playing with a little whirly light up toy.
More Easter Fun

Some fun Easter pictures. The kids enjoyed decorating eggs. I think they were amazed that I put the white egg in and it came out a different color. We did some color blending, making orange and green too. So the egg was white, then yellow, then green....Wow! I imagine that's pretty cool to a toddler. There's a picture of them with their Easter baskets and another one in their Easter outfits. We got dressed up and went to brunch at the little local restaurant. It was grea and the kids did awesome!

Easter Fun

Some of our Easter festivities included a trip to the local egg hunt. This was a first for Sarah & Caleb. They scooped up lots of eggs and really enjoyed it. They were both pretty disappointed when all the eggs were gone. They also got their first taste of Peeps. Grandma and Grandpa got them each some and they, of course, thought they were the greatest things ever.
Mall Trip

We went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. The kids loved him! Sarah, who screamed her head off at Santa, couldn't get enough of him. As soon as she was out of the stroller she ran to give him a hug. Caleb was pretty excited to see him too. After the bunny we rode in one of those overpriced, germ ridden, mall toys. They loved that too! What big kids they're becoming!
